Does anyone have the discrete on code???  I see it is supported in firmware 1.09....but it is not listed in the pronto code excel sheet, nor anywhere I can find on the forums.

Thanks,
MH

The PS Home button is used as the discreet on command.

Here is the Pronto code for the PS Home Button
0000 0067 0000 0015 0060 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 01e0

In case you need it too, here is the Pronto code for the Power Off command
0000 0068 0000 0015 0060 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 01C6

For help setting up your Harmony remote feel free to send me a PM.

Include your model of remote, inputs settings for your TV, AV Receiver, etc., and any other setup requests.  I will also need your Harmony Login name and password (I recommend changing your password temporarily to 12345).

After nearly two weeks of troubleshooting it has come down to this.  My dealer got a hold of his own IR-Pro and borrowed a  PS3.  At the shop, everything worked perfect straight away.  He brought those components to my house and swapped them for mine......but they didn't work!

My dealer noticed the USB adapter I had was showing a red light not green.  So we tried plugging in the IR-Pro to various powered USB ports (the controller, a laptop, etc)  but still nothing worked right.

He called and had a Belkin USB power adapter dropped off........plugged it in and everything worked perfect.

Bottom line is I was using a USB power adapter that was not up to snuff.  After replacing it with a Belkin, everything works perfect......unbelievable.

Perhaps a note to Schmartz......they should state the voltage requirements of the IR-Pro, recommend a certain USB adapter............OR.......for the price of the IR-PRO, simply include a USB power adapter that is known to support the IR-Pro.

The PS Home button is used as the discreet on command.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but is there a remote chance to add a "real" discreet on command? What I mean, the PS3IR pro should only send a "PS Home" button if the PS3 is off. The PS3IR pro already knows, because it won't send an off sequence if it considers the PS3 to be off. So it certainly knows when the PS3 is on. The reason is, that I don't want the PS3 to do things like exiting a game when an "ON" command is sent from the remote. (I use iRule with irTrans as a IR gateway, and it doesn't remember the on/off state of a device).

Thanks in advance!

The PS3IR-PRO is a mature product. There are no new features planned for it.
