Update: I used my wife's XP laptop and it worked fine.

I am trying to update my PRO to firmware v1.9.  I did the 1,1, 14 sec sequence with my Harmony 890 and the new found device dialog popped up as advertised.  The install of the firmware updater was successful.  I ran the updater and got errors when "find bootloader" ran which I assume means that the PRO was no longer communicating.  Now nothing happens when I do the 1,1, 14sec sequence.  I've rebooted the laptop.  I've updated the remote and changed the output for the PS3 to IR.  I've manually copied the cysub.dll and cysub.sys to the system32 directory.  I've verified my .Net framework.  Nothing happens and I've tried it many times.  I'm running Vista Pro 32 bit.

If anybody has any ideas I would appreciate it as I have run out of ideas.

Actually, it sounds like everything went well. The device is automatically reset after the firmare is loaded so it will switch to normal mode. Also, once you update to V1.6 (or later) the method of entering firmware update mode changes. To enter firmware update mode, just press the 1 button on your remote within 12 seconds after you plug in the PRO.
