No Hardware-Discription (Terminals)
« on: October 08, 2009, 07:08:44 PM »
I have got a PS3IR-Pro (ebay). It came with installation-instructions only. It works fine with my new PS3 slim but im thinking about the function of the two teminals (one is a RJ11-Jack?) other than Mini-USB.

Thank you and greetings from Nuremberg/Germany

The gray connector doesn't do anything at this point.

The green connector is for external IR input. Place the unit flat, with the screws down. The left side of the green connector is for signal input, and the right is ground. It expect a ground-based signal, and it could be high and pulled low or low and pulled high. The differential should be at least 3 Volts, but not more than 12 Volts.
